Wendy Ann (Jastremsky) Day

Wendy Ann Day, 36, of Gardners, passed away Tuesday morning, April 23, 2019 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Berwick, May 16, 1982, she was the daughter of Jerome “Buddy” and Carol Ann (Spiece) Jastremsky, Weston. She had spent the past 13 years in Gardners after moving from Weston.

Wendy received her undergraduate from Penn State University and was a graduate of Dickinson Law School. She was a lawyer for 911 Authority in State College. Wendy was a member of First United Church of Christ, Carlisle and also attended their book club. She enjoyed spending time with her family and trips to the zoo.

She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Joseph and Cecelia Jastremsky, and maternal grandparents Robert and Janet Spiece.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her loving husband of nine years Jessie Day, Gardners; daughter, Cecelia Janet Day, at home; brother, Jonathan Jastremsky and his wife Mariclaire, Oviedo, FL; nephew, Benjamin Jastremsky and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Her funeral will be held Monday, April 29 at 10am from Harman Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Rd., Rock Glen. Services will continue at 10:30 am in Emmanuel UCC Church, 255 Mahanoy Street, Nuremberg with Pastors Suzanne Schaeffer and Chris and Rachel Schwab. Burial will follow in Nuremberg Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6 to 9 pm.
