Patrick M. Donahue, 74, of Drums, passed away Sunday afternoon, December 26, 2021 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes Barre.
Born in Hazleton, August 6, 1947, he was the son of the late Florenz and Mary (Mol) Donahue and spent the past 43 years in Drums, after moving from Hazleton.
Patrick was a Northeast Regional Forester for the Pennsylvania Game Commission. He was a member of Good Shepherd RC Church, Drums and enjoyed traveling to Maryland to spend time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his son, Michael, who passed away February 19, 2006 and his sisters Mary Claire Hanley and Florence Reinhardt.
Surviving are his wife of the past 44 years, the former Deborah O'Connor; a son Patrick A., and his wife Colleen, Bel Air, MD; four grandchildren Maggie, Annie, Finley, and Nolan; three brothers Jack and his wife Elaine, Scranton; Jerry and his wife Judie, Lake Hauto; and Dennis and his wife Cindy, Union Springs, NY; a sister Cathy Greybosh, Hazle Village; and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Thursday December 30, 2021 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Good Shepherd RC Church, 87 S. Hunter Highway, Drums. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the church Thursday morning from 10 am until the time of the Mass.
