Michael Brill Obituary

Michael E. Brill, 55, of Panama City, FL passed away Thursday, October 18, 2018 at his home.

Born in Hazleton, November 6, 1962, he was the son of the late Harold "Butch" and June (Lane) Brill and spent the past 32 years in Panama City after moving from McAdoo.

Michael was a graduate of Penn State University, and Florida State University. He was a CPA and partner for Segers, Sowell, Stewart, Johnson and Brill Accounting Firm, at 626 Luverne Ave, Panama City. He was active in his community. He was President of the Board of Directors for the Second Chance of Northwest Florida, Panama City, FL, a non-profit agency that serves adults living with traumatic or acquired brain injuries. He was a caring and passionate person, who was the first to show up in someone's time of need. He was loved by everyone he met. He loved to entertain and cook for his family and friends, and enjoyed bringing people together.

He was joined in death with his wife the former Donna (Forte) (Provenzano), to whom he was married on June 6,1987, in Hazleton, and was preceded in death, by a sister Barbara Schmeer.

Surviving are brothers and sisters Sandra Greenwood and her husband Steve, Goose Creek, SC; Steven Brill, McAdoo; Lisa Waak and her husband Stephen, McAdoo; and Lori Nenstiel and her husband Daniel, Drums; nephews Eric and Shaun Greenwood, Mark Schmeer, Justin Ayers and Nicholas Waak, and nieces Tiffany Brill and Haley Waak; several great-nieces and great-nephews, and a step-son Daniel Provenzano, Hazleton.

A Memorial will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2 pm in Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 467 Main Street Conyngham. Friends may call at the church Saturday afternoon 1-2 pm.
