Loisann H. (Helps) Earley

Loisann H. Earley, 81, of Conyngham, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 30, 2023, at Glen Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Berwick, following a year long illness.
 
 Born in Coaldale, January 21, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Vera (Aiken) Helps and spent most of her life in Sugarloaf.
 
 Loisann graduated with an associate in business and worked as a legal secretary for many years but was an exceptional wife, mother, and homemaker.  She loved participating in area golf and bowling leagues, and spending time at the beach in Outer Banks NC. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her grandchildren, family, and friends each summer on the Outer Banks.
 
 She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her loving husband Robert William Earley; who passed away September 25, 2017; and son Robert William Earley, Jr. who passed away in 1988. She turned the loss of losing a son into a positive by helping other parents cope with the loss of their child.  She was involved with the "Compassionate Friends Group" for many years that offers support to families that have lost a child.
 
 Surviving are two sons, Brian Earley and wife Denise, Conyngham; and Jason Earley and his wife Jennifer, Erie; six grandchildren, Robert and Kevin Earley, Conyngham; Andra Earley, Louisville KY; Steven Earley and his wife Grace, Union City; Alexis Bowser, Erie; and Alyssia Salas-Truong, ND; a sister, Nancy Kasubick and husband Ted, The Villages, FL; brother-in-law, Marty Earley and wife Pam, and several nieces and cousins.
  
 Her funeral will be held with a Memorial Service on Monday, June 5, 2023, at 10 AM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums. Burial will follow in Black Creek United Methodist Cemetery, Sugarloaf. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 5 to 7 PM.
