Lawrence Houseknecht

Lawrence Houseknecht passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Wednesday June 15, 2022.  He was 89 years old and a veteran who served in the US Navy during the Korean War.

He was born in Brown's Grove and was the son of the late Frederick and Martha (Stein) Houseknecht.  He was the last surviving member of his family.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Wenner) Houseknecht; two daughters Deborah Harahush and her husband Edward, Long Beach, NY; and Tameria Houseknecht, Drums.  He is also survived by five grandchildren Valerie, Shawn, Jacquelyn, Allyson, and Matthew to whom he was affectionately known as Yaddy.  He is also survived by his loving companion, their dog, Cookie.

All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
