Justin Joseph James Devaney, 30, of Brentwood, TN, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021.
Born in Hazleton, December 7, 1990, he was the son of Kimberly (Wagner) Schneider, Tucson, AZ and the late Darren Devaney and had spent the past 5 months in Brentwood, TN after moving from Philadelphia.
Justin was a Laborer who helped make masks during the pandemic. He was a brilliant and vibrant, young man who always brought the new, the hip, or the up-coming to those around him. Justin's greatest passion was his music. In High School, he studied at the School of Rock, Philadelphia; over the course of his life, he wrote and composed over 30,000 songs. He was a trained pianist, who went on to teach himself how to play drums, guitar, and many other instruments. He sang and released music as a solo artist but was also a member of many bands with his most recent being Mystyc. Justin was happiest with a pen, some paper, and his guitar (and maybe a Lego set on the side).
He was preceded in death, in addition to his father by his paternal grandfather Joseph Devaney.
Surviving in addition to his mother are two siblings, Abigail Schneider and her companion Michael Dubravski, West Chester; and Nolan Schneider, Tucson, AZ; paternal grandmother Barbara Devaney, Weston; and maternal grandparents James Wagner and his wife Barbara, Weatherly; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated privately at the convenience of the family. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 699 W. Butler Drive, Drums, assisted the family with the cremation.
