Elaine Belko Obituary
Elaine Dolores Belko, 71, of Tresckow, passed away early Sunday morning, March 27, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton.
Born in Hazleton, June 17, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Francis Sr. and Margaret (Royack) Banas and spent the past 40 years in Tresckow, after moving from Hazleton.
Elaine had worked as a Sales Clerk for the former Kmart, Laurel Mall, Hazleton for over 35 years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, 6th and Vine Streets, Hazleton. She was an avid bowler and member of several leagues at Bowl Area, Hazleton.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by a brother Francis Banas, Jr. and a sister Mariann Banas.
Surviving are her husband of the past 32 years, John P. Belko; a step-daughter Cheryl Kokinda and her husband Richard, Drums; and their son Nicholas Kokinda.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
