Doloris E. (Rusnock) Mucheck passed away August 3, 2022 at Linwood Nursing and Rehabilitation, Scranton.
She was born in Hazleton on March 12, 1933. She lived in Fern Glen for the majority of her life. She graduated from Rock Glen High in 1950. Her first ever job out of High School was working at the Pentagon for an Air Force Colonel. She was also a legal secretary for 37 years.
Doloris was an excellent dancer, did modeling, was a great cook, and was excellent at sewing. Her interests were big band music, Elvis, poetry, and Fred Astaire movies. Her favorite movie of all time is Gone with the Wind and her favorite poet was Robert Louis Stevenson.
Doloris was a devout Catholic and served as a lector for St. Joseph's in Nuremburg and Sacred Heart RC in Weston.
She loved her parents, Katy (Tamea) and Joe Rusnock; her children Joey, Kelly (William) Pettit, and oldest son Tony; grandson Brady Pettit. and her cat Norman.
Mom is completely respected for her ethics, grit, and determination. She was cherished, will be loved forever and will be very badly missed.
