Catherine E. Kamerzel, 91, of Nuremberg, passed away Sunday morning, March 5, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton following a short illness.
Born in Nuremberg, December 10, 1931, she was the daughter of the late William and Beatrice (Miller) Siegel and had spent her entire life in Nuremberg.
Catherine was Co-owner of Kamerzel Fuel Service, Weston, with her late husband Butch. She was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Nuremberg, and was an active organist in several local churches for many years. Catherine enjoyed spending her free time sewing and crocheting.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents by her loving husband, Robert L. "Butch" Kamerzel who passed away October 27, 2015.
Surviving are her daughter, Leslie Hoffman and husband Edward, Nuremberg; stepson, David Kamerzel and wife Mary, Mt. Grove; stepdaughter, Roberta Humphrey and husband Robert, VA; seven grandchildren, Craig Bellum, Michael Hoffman, Michele Harvey, Kim Houseknecht, Robert Yeager, and Elizabeth and Lisa Kamerzel; eight great-grandchildren, James, Ethan, Matthew, Lauren, Amber, Trey, Robert, and Joseph; and sister-in-law, June Schlauch, Nuremberg.
All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
