Tabitha Lynn Morris, 39, of Hazle Township, passed away Thursday at her residence.
Born in Lancaster, June 1, 1979, she was the daughter of Debbie L. (Spivey) Martin, NC; and Colin R. and step-daughter of Diane Tworek, Black Creek Twp.
Tabitha was a Machine Operator for First Quality Non Wovens, Hazleton and a hostess at the Beltway Diner, Hazleton. She was affiliated with of Holy Annunciation Parish at St. Gabriel Church, Hazleton. She was a very loving and artistic person who enjoyed crafting, gardening and making gifts and other creative projects.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Chase Kniffin, who passed away July 15, 2003; paternal grandparents, John and Betty Tworek; maternal grandfather, Grey Spivey; maternal step-grandfather, Norman Hammer; and an uncle, Darren Spivey.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a daughter, Alexis Williams; Hazleton; brother, Colin Grey Tworek and his companion Maureen Mautz and their children, Lakeville; sister, Tanya Hawkins and her companion Matthew Cogswell and her children; Harwood; maternal grandmother, Merry Hammer, NC; uncle, Cameron Spivey, VA; aunt, Liz Boehmer and her husband Ron, Lancaster; great-uncle Charles “Chuck” Spivey, NC; and several cousins also survive.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 6 at 10 am in Holy Annunciation Parish at St. Gabriel’s Church, 122 S. Wyoming St., Hazleton. Friends and family are invited to call at the church from 9 am until the time of the Mass.
