Gary Huff, Jr. Obituary

Gary L. Huff, Jr.,56, of Black Creek Township, passed away late Thursday evening at his home following a two-year battle with cancer.

Born in Altoona, March 31, 1961, he was the son of Gary L. and Judith (Moser) Huff, Sr., of Altoona.  He spent the past 35 years in Black Creek Township after moving from Altoona.

Gary worked as a Machine Operator for Federal Direct, Valmont Industrial Park, Hazleton, and was a member of St. John Bosco RC Church, Sugarloaf.  He enjoyed hunting, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and working around his home.

Surviving in addition to his parents, are his wife, to whom he was married 33 years, the former Kimberly Keller; a son Zachary, Scranton; two daughters Jordyn Huff, Dallas; and Erin Huff, West Chester; two sisters Gail Welsh and her husband Jim, Newark, DE; and Julie Weir and her husband Joe, Middletown; four brothers, Don and his wife Autum; Matt and his wife Robyn; and David and his wife Tammy; all of Tyrone; and Drew and his wife Dawn, Altoona; and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East) 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. John Bosco RC Church, 573 State Route 93, Sugarloaf.  Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family.  Friends may call Sunday evening 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
