Leroy Michael Lenhart

Leroy Michael Lenhart, 75, passed away Sunday morning at Fritizertown Senior Living Community Drums, where he had been a guest.

Born in Foster Township, January 18, 1941, he was the son of the late Michael and Matilda (Kleban) Lenhart and had lived in Drums prior to moving to Fritzingertown.

Leroy was Valedictorian of MMI, Class of 1958.  He graduated in 1962 with a BA in Chemistry from Lehigh University, and in 1973 with his Juris Doctorate from Temple University.  

He was employed as a Consulting and Research Chemist at Dupont from 1962-1976.  He was accepted to the Pennsylvania Bar Association in 1977 and operated his private law practice from 1977-1996.  In 1982 he and his wife Donna opened Five Star Travel Agency until their retirement in 1999.

Surviving are his wife the former Donna Lee Dotter; a step-daughter Shelly Seltzer and her husband Brian, Weatherly; a sister Barbara Meluzzo and her husband Joseph, Wilkes-Barre; and two nephews Thomas and Michael Dixon.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 10:30 am in Good Shepherd RC Church, 87 S. Hunter Highway, Drums.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.
