Helen E. (Ross) Reimer

Helen E. Reimer, 87, formerly Hunterdon County, NJ and Sugarloaf, PA, passed away  Saturday at The Laurels Senior Living Community, where she has resided for the past five years.

Born in Pine Grove on December 28, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Byron A. and Florence Ross.

Helen worked as a hospital dietitian, was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star, Mayflower Chapter #107, a life member, past president and board member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, and served on the board at Belco Credit union.  She was a member of Black Creek United Methodist Church, Sugarloaf and the church’s United Methodist Women.  She was also a former member of Rockaway Reformed Church; Whitehouse Station, NJ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Walter, who passed away in 1977; a brother Joseph L. Ross in 2014, and a nephew James A. Ross earlier this year.

Surviving are her nephews Joseph L. Ross Jr. and his wife Katherine, Princeton, NJ; Ken D. Ross, Allentown; her sister-in law Constance F. Ross, Allentown; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 10 am in Black Creek United Methodist Church, 158 Golf Course Road, Sugarloaf.  Private interment will take place at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
