Barbara Ann (Steuhl) Bean

Barbara Ann Bean, 81, a resident of Davis Manor-South, Hazleton for the past two years passed away Sunday morning at the facility following a lengthy illness.

Born in Bronxville, NY, May 31, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Goatcher) Steuhl.  Prior to residing at Davis Manor she had lived on Rock Glen Road in Sugarloaf.

Barbara worked as a manufacturing machinist and was a member of the Baptist Church.  She enjoyed adult coloring books, art and spending time with members of the third generation of her family.  She was an avid sports fan of the New York Mets, Jets, and Rangers.  

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband Richard and a nephew John Allan Rizzo.

Surviving are two sons Richard, Australia; and Christopher Las Vegas, NV; sisters Joan Rizzo, Sugarloaf; and Maureen Cianculli, Fishkill, NY; nephews Bill Rizzo and his fiancée, Missy, Sugarloaf; Joseph Cianculli, Fishkill, NY; Thomas Rizzo and his companion Tanya, Greenville, NC; a niece Tina Marie Hunt, Fishkill, NY; and several great nieces and great nephews.

All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
