Zachary S. Huff, 32, of Scranton, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Commonwealth Health Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton, following a brief illness.
Born in Berwick, August 7, 1988, he was the son of Kimberly (Keller) Huff, Sugarloaf; and the late Gary L. Huff Jr. and spent the past three years in Scranton, after moving from Sugarloaf.
Zachary was a member of St. John Bosco, RC Church, Sugarloaf. He was a kind soul who, in his time here with us, touched many of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Zach loved listening to music, watching movies, trips to Knoebels, milkshakes, and long Sunday drives with loud music. Zach's family would like to thank everyone at their "Allied family" at Allied Services in Scranton for their compassion and care of Zach.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his father, by a maternal grandmother, Barbara Keller.
Surviving in addition to his mother are two sisters, Jordyn E. Huff and her finance' Bill Evans, Shavertown; and Erin Huff, Pittston; paternal grandparents Gary L. Huff, Sr. and his wife Judith, Tyrone; maternal grandparents Raymond Keller and his wife Rosemarie, Altoona; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Additionally, Zach is survived by his "honorary" family, The Minnick's; Ronnie Sr., Marlene, Ronnie Jr., Holly, Jace, Eric, and Haley. Their love for Zach and the times they shared together not only enriched his life, but gave his family a sense of peace that no others could give. For that, they will be eternally grateful.
His funeral will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums, is assisting the family.
In lieu of monetary donations, Zach's family would like tributes to be made as he lived his life; simply and with a gentle kindness. In Zach's spirit, please take a moment to think of him and practice a random act of kindness in his honor. Online condolences can be entered and more information is available at www.harmanfuneral.com.
