William "Bill" Croman of Lake Wales, Florida, passed away June 7, 2023 in Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
He was born May 29, 1938, in Berwick, to the late Albert and Gladys Croman. He moved to Lake Wales, Florida, from Drums in 1971.
Bill was a supervisor for GTE from 1971 until 1993 and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Florida Gators, and enjoyed square dancing and stained glass crafting. Bill especially loved having corn roasts and get togethers with his friends and family.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred "Millie" Croman; and a brother, Albert "Jay" Croman. His brother, Russell Croman also passed away six-weeks after Bill.
He is survived by his daughter, Lynne Ullrich and husband Carl, Grottoes, Va.; sons, James "Jim" Croman, Sugarloaf Twp.; and William "Bill" Croman, Bartow, Florida; and grandchildren, Nicolas Ullrich and Emma Ullrich.
His funeral will be held with a Memorial Service on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at 6 PM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 5 PM until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bill's honor may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
