Todd Edward Lightner, 74, of Wapwallopen, passed away Friday morning, July 5, 2024 at his residence with his loving family, following a lengthy illness.
Born in Delaware Water Gap, September 9, 1949, he was the son of the late Harold and Ella (Christman) Lightner and spent the past 36 years in Wapwallopen, after moving from Easton, PA.
Todd was the owner and operator of Moyer's Grove Campground and Country RV, Wapwallopen. He was a member of Palmer Municipal Fire Company since 1974, Easton's Masonic Lodge No. 152, the Easton Forest #35 Tall Cedars, and Bunton Bock Oldtimers. Todd enjoyed hunting in his earlier years, trips to Myrtle Beach, traveling, watching NASCAR, cooking and going out to eat, tinkering, building and fixing up his campground.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his siblings, Diane, Larry and Phillip Lightner, and Faith Storm.
Surviving are his wife, Janet (Brandt) Lightner and her dog Sunshine, Wapwallopen; two daughters, Jennifer Lightner and her life partner Susan Kocher, Bloomsburg; and Tammy Heller and her husband Ronald, Sugarloaf; two grandsons, Sam and Nolan Heller, at home; grand-pups, Gus, Ledger, and Wishbone and a few nieces and nephews.
Services for Todd will be held with a Celebration of Life on Sunday, July 28, from 12-5PM at Moyer's Grove Campground, 309 Moyers Grove Road, Wapwallopen, PA 18660. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 West Butler Drive, Drums, assisted the family with the arrangements.
