Timothy L. "Tim" Stauffer Sr., 73, of Fern Glen, passed away Sunday evening, June 26, 2022 at his home.
Born in Canton, OH, May 31, 1949, he was the son of the late Walter and Wilma (Price) Stauffer.
Tim was a 1968 graduate of Glenwood High School, Canton, OH. He served four years in the US Navy and the US Army Reserves for several years. He retired from Tobyhanna Army Depot as an Electronic Technician. While at Tobyhanna Army Depot he traveled extensively to Germany, Turkey, Korea, Somalia, Iran, Iraq and within the United States. After retiring from Tobyhanna, he worked for Walmart, Hometown, in the Auto Service Center. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Nuremberg. He enjoyed going to the casino, fishing, working on cars, going to Harry's U-Pull-It, and to Turking Hill for coffee.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his son Chad Walter Stauffer, who passed away January 31, 2014; a brother Ronald Armour; and sisters Virginia Parker, Marie Spreadbury, and Paula Ward
Surviving are his wife, the former Verna Schell, who whom he was married on January 27, 1973; a son Timothy L. Stauffer, Jr. and his wife Barbara, Fern Glen; grandchildren Andy Belusko, his wife Kim, and their children Emily and Alexis, Orefield; Victoria and Lindsay Zanolini, Fern Glen; Rhiannon Stauffer and her companion Ryan Baldwin, California, MD; and Connor Stauffer, Fern Glen; sisters Deborah Stauffer, Newton, IA; Helen Lendhurst, Cleveland, OH; and Beth Brockman and her husband Robert, Port Charlotte, FL; brother-in-law Earl Schell and his wife Beverly, Sugarloaf; sisters-in-law Wanda Emery and her husband Larry, Bloomsburg; and Barbara Klingerman, Zion Grove; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
