Theresa "Mickie" Rushinock, 56, of Nuremberg, passed away Monday afternoon, November 23, 2020 at her home following a one and a half year illness.
Born in Philadelphia, May 29, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Baird) Morris and spent the past 28 years in Nuremberg after moving from Sugarloaf.
Theresa was a Nurses Aid before her children were born, at which time she became a homemaker. Once they were older she reentered the workforce and was employed by Hershey Foods, Humboldt. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, scrapbooking and reading.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by a brother Thomas Lucas; and two sisters Paula Harding and Linda Bigus.
Surviving are her husband John, to whom she was married on June 3, 1988; a daughter Rebecca and son Joshua, both of Nuremberg; a brother Joseph Morris, Glen Lyon; three sisters Irene Lucent, Wilkes-Barre; Mary Antonishak, Kingston; and Cecelia Ackerman and her husband Mark, Glen Lyon; her mother-in-law Theresa Rushinock, Dillsburg; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, and as well as many loving "second children".
A memorial service will be held at future date, once all Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted.
