Terry Lee Williams, 67, of Hazle Township, passed away Wednesday evening, January 22, 2025, at her residence in Hazle Township, following a sudden illness.
Born in Hazleton, June 23, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Leona (Christ) Schagen and spent the past 23 years in Hazle Township, after moving from Sybertsville.
Terry was a 1975 graduate of Hazleton High School. She was employed as Personal Care Aide for Sunny Knoll Personal Care Home, Sugarloaf and spent many years as a private Care Aide. She was a member of The National Wildlife Federation and had her yard accredited as a Certified Wildlife Habitat. She was a devoted animal lover, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren, they were her bright light. She would attend and cheer at every competition and sporting event they participated in.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by a sister, Jacklyn Yurish, and a brother, Jeffrey Schagen.
Surviving are her daughter, Shayla Baran and her husband Paul, Drums; two grandchildren, Aiden Williams and Karlie Baran, at home; two brothers, Randy Schagen, Drums; and Ryan Schagen, Freeland; three sisters, Cindy Tisi, Freeland; Amy Schagen, Reading; and Carrie Schagen, Williamsport; and many nieces and nephews.
Services for Terry will be held with a Memorial Visitation on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 West Butler Drive, Drums. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of her family.
