Steven Edwin Simon Sr.

Steven Edwin Simon Sr., 71, of Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania, passed away November 12, 2024 at his residence in Sugarloaf, PA following a sudden illness.

Born in Albert Lea, MN, December 5, 1952, he was the son of the late Edwin and Margaret Simon and spent the past 8 years in Sugarloaf, Pennsylvania after moving from New Prague, MN.

Steven worked for Mystic Lake Casino security for 13 years. He was also a lifetime member of Moose Lodge, Austin, MN. He enjoyed traveling and his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are his wife, Debra (Stephens) Simon to whom he was married on October 17, 1987 in Austin, MN; four daughters Shannon Clark, Lakeville, MN; Stephanie Fryer, Sugarloaf; Dana Petersen, Alden, MN; Kathy Fryer, Austin, MN; one son Steven Simon Jr., Austin, MN; nine grand-children; five great grand-children; one brother Virgil Eggers, Austin, MN; two sisters-in-law Susan Schulz, Sun City Center, FL; Marylou Stephens, Reskin, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held privately in Minnesota at a later date at the convenience of the family.
