Sharon "Sherry" (Forte) Jones

Sharon "Sherry" Jones, 58, of Bloomsburg, passed away Friday afternoon, November 8, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born in Wilkes Barre, February 18, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Genaro and Sharon (Olhonaski) Forte and spent the past 13 years in Bloomsburg, after moving from Hazleton.

Sherry was a graduate of Hazleton High School class of 1984.  She had worked for Hershey Corp, Humbolt for 20 years and was employed as a Supervisor for Tempur Sealy, Mountain Top for 17 years.  She was an extremely hard worker who never missed a day of work.  In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, going to concerts, and taking care of her family.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by five of her siblings.

Surviving are her loving husband, Terry Jones, whom she was married on August 3, 2013; and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her funeral will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 12 PM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen. Interment will take place privately.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning, from 10:30 AM until the time of the service.
