Sharon C Thomaszfski (nee Drury), born April 21, 1961, passed away in her home on October 26, 2021 after a long battle with an autoimmune disease.
In earlier days, she was a Programmer/Systems Analyst with AT&T. She enjoyed raising her family in Hillsborough, NJ. – volunteering in many sports and school activities. Once her kids were grown, she relocated to Myrtle Beach, hosting friends and family at her home there. She was both a hospice and CASA volunteer in Myrtle Beach. Later in her life, she moved to Jacksonville, Fla to be closer to her children and her grandchildren. She volunteered on her local HOA board and also helped lead discussion topics on the local Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) group – a condition resulting from her autoimmune disease. Sharon’s fierce zest for life, even though she suffered pain and disappointments, will be the fond memory by which we will honor her.
Spending time with her family, children, grandchildren and friends was her passion.
Sharon is predeceased by Michael (father) and Christine (mother) Drury and Michael E. Drury (brother).
She is survived by sons Kevin (wife, Gaby) and Brian (girlfriend, Michelle) and grandchildren, Madelyn and Jacob, her beloved pet Ninja as well as sisters Kathy Mazewski, Patty Marko, Kim Szymanowski and beloved brother, Tim Drury.
No formal funeral services will be held – instead, a private family gathering is being arranged.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Sharon’s memory can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
