Scott H. Spangenburg, age 62 of Conyngham, PA, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away at home on March 27, 2025. Scott will be remembered as someone who loved the outdoors, spending time with family and travelling, especially to Assateague Island National Seashore with Sharon. He will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
Scott is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 40 years, Sharon, his daughter Holly Wilkerson and her husband Jared and their two children Logan and Marlena, his son Scott D. Spangenburg, his daughter Nicole Spangenburg and her fiancé Francis Leo. He is also survived by his brother Mark Spangenburg and his wife Donna, his sister Cheryl Griset and her husband Richard, and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family is organizing a public memorial on May 17th, 2025 at the CVCO Recreation Center building in Conyngham from 1-3PM. Please use the address of Gould’s Way, Sugarloaf, 18249 for correct directions. If additional directions are needed, use the location for Conyngham Brewing Company and turn onto Gould’s Way. The family asks that anyone with fond memories and stories to feel free to attend and share.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the National Parks Foundation (https://www.nationalparks.org/) in honor of Scott Spangenburg. Donations as little as $5.00 are accepted using the “Other” option.
