Sara-Lou (Bryden) Lukachik, 87, of Eagle Rock, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021.
Born in Courtdale, September 5, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Jones) Bryden and spent her early years there and in Dallas, PA before moving to Hazleton. She was a 1952 graduate of Hazleton High School and worked as a dispatcher for the State Police, Hazleton Barracks for many years. In retirement she moved to Ocala, FL. with her devoted husband Stephen Lukachik and in her later years relocated back to Eagle Rock to spend time with her family and close friends.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband Stephen Lukachik.
Sara was a member of both Hazleton and Ocala Presbyterian churches. She will be missed by her family and her many close friends.
Surviving are her three loving sons, Daniel Sebia and wife Marybeth of Robertsdale, PA; William Sebia, of Dallas, PA; and Anthony (AJ) Sebia and wife Lori of Murfreesboro, TN; four grandchildren who affectionately called her Nana- Alyson (Jesse) Bortner, Zachery (McKayla) Sebia, Nicole (Austin) Jones, and Jillian Sebia; three great-grandchildren, Torrin, Teagan, and Silas; her brother William Bryden, Edwardsville; and her sister-in-law Barbara King and husband Raymond, Edwardsville; along with many nieces and nephews.
All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 West Butler Drive, Drums, assisted the family.
