Ruth Ann (Hartmeyer) Woodring

Ruth Ann Woodring, 81, of Harwood, formerly of Drums, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at her home following a one-month illness.

Born in Hazleton, January 8, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Marie (Weising) Hartmeyer and spent the past five years in Harwood after moving from Drums, where she had lived for 43 years.

Ruth was a Homemaker for most of her life. She attended Christ Church UCC, Conyngham. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband Donald, who passed away August 22, 2013; a son Ronald, April 21, 2014; and a sister Mary Jane Gaydos.

Surviving are five children, David Woodring; Donna Pollard and her husband James, Sugarloaf; Debbie Capozzelli, and her husband John, Berwick; Richard Woodring, Drums; and Ruth Ann Houser and her husband Jeff, Harwood; seven grandchildren Jessica Pollard Buckeit; Jared Pollard; Regina Frantz, John Michael, and Aaron Capozzelli; and Ryan and Kevin Kotansky; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 8 pm from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening from 6 pm unitl the time of the service. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
