Obituary
Roy Lee Dalton, Sr., 71, of Freeland, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon, April 11, 2023, from injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Born in Kilgore, TX, August 28, 1951, he was the son of Christine (Dulaney) Dalton, El Dorado, AK; and the late Emmett Dalton.
Roy was a construction foreman for SG&R Construction. He was a US Army veteran having served from 1975 - 1979. Roy loved "working his magic" on the BBQ grill, fishing in lakes and streams, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his family.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his loving wife, the former Kathleen Bartholomew; two children, Roy Lee Dalton, Jr., Freeland; and Jennifer Beattie and husband James, Philadelphia; seven grandchildren, Jimmy, Nick, Marcus, Gage, Priscilla, Madison, and Jaxon; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, two brothers, and several nieces and nephews.
