Rev. Stacy I. Weaver

Rev. Stacy I. Weaver, 88, of Conyngham, passed away late Thursday evening, January 20, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton following a brief illness.

Born in Lock Haven, December 22, 1933, he was the son of the late Arthur and Catherine (Greninger) Weaver and spent the past 55 years in Conyngham, after moving from Bethlehem PA.

Stacy was Pastor at Christ Church, Conyngham for 33 years and was very active in the Penn Northeast Conference. He was a past President of the CVCO and he enjoyed spending time fishing and woodworking.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by a sister Sally Fox.

Surviving are his loving wife of 64 years, the former Evelyn Blake to whom he was married on June 1, 1957 in Lancaster; three children Jeffrey L. Weaver and his companion Karie Shoemaker, Beach Haven; Jonathan L. Weaver and his wife Lori, Conyngham; Jay L. Weaver and his wife Margarita, Lovettsville, VA; nine grandchildren, Kyle, Lakota, Jeremy, Isabella, and Dr. Kira Weaver (Sean Crawford) and Kayla Slotter (Kerry), Jessica Washington (John), and Elizabeth and Miguel Aramayo; 8 great-grandchildren; a brother James Weaver and his wife Kathryn, Mechanicsburg; and some nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held with a Memorial Service on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 11 am in Christ Church, 470 S. Main St, Conyngham officiated by Pastor Sandy Murphy. Burial will take place privately in Conyngham Union Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the church on Wednesday morning from 10 am until the time of the service.
