Regina L. (Lesnefsky) Lesnefsky

Regina L. Lesnefsky, 97, formerly of Beaver Twp., passed away early Monday morning  December 23, 2024 at Glen Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Berwick, following a lengthy illness.

Born in Bloomsburg, PA, July 30, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Sophie  Lesnefsky and spent most of her life in Beaver Twp, and had also lived in Irvington N.J.

Regina attended Beaver Twp. Consolidated School graduating in 1946 and was a Telephone Operator Supervisor  for New Jersey Bell for 37 Years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Weston. She was also a member of AT&T Pioneers- Mid Atlantic Chapter 12, Beaver Twp, Fire Co Auxiliary, Woman of the Moose-Columbia Valley Chapter 72. She also enjoyed bus trips to the casino, going out for luncheons and traveling to Florida with friends especially to Miami. Regina loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed those wonderful holiday meals.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her sisters Annie Roan, Jennie Ellis and Sophie Plafcan. Regina was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Surviving are her brother in law Robert Ellis, Bloomsburg and many nieces, nephews, and great nephews.

Her funeral will be held Friday December 27, 2024 at 11:00am from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West) 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen. Burial will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Weston. Friends may call Friday morning at the Funeral Home from 10:00am until time of service.
