Raymond S. Beishline

Raymond "Rusty" S. Beishline, 72, of Sugarloaf, passed away early Saturday morning, January 25, 2025, at his residence in Sugarloaf, following a three-month illness.

Born in Hazleton, October 18, 1952, he was the son of the late Samuel and Mary (Stern) Beishline and spent most of his life in Sugarloaf.

Rusty was a graduate of West Hazleton High School class of 1970 and received his associate in electrical engineering from Penn State Hazleton in 1972, and graduated from Simmons Mortuary College, Syracuse, NY in 1973.

Rusty was an Electrical Engineer for Power Electric now called All Phase Electric, Hazleton and retired from Friedman Electric, Bloomsburg.  He was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Conyngham. He was also a member of the Berwick Golf Club, a past member of the Valley Country Club and a member of the Caldwell Consistory, Bloomsburg.  Rusty was active in free masonry and was a member and past master of the Azalea Lodge #687, Hazleton and was also a member at the Knapp Lodge #462, Berwick. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, and listening to music.

Surviving are his loving wife, the former Linda Monte; a daughter, Jaime Chyko, Sugarloaf; a son, Samuel Beishline and his wife Amanda, Charlottesville, VA; four grandchildren, Ashley, Julia, Ryan, and Sylvie; a great-granddaughter, Penelope; several nieces and nephews, and his fur buddy Ellie. 

His funeral will be held with a Memorial Service on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 11 AM in Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, 467 S. Main St, Conyngham, PA 18219, followed by interment in Conyngham Union Cemetery.  Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:30 AM-11 AM.
