Pauline Baymor, 96, of Conyngham, PA passed away peacefully at Artman Lutheran Home on Friday, February 21st, while in the loving care of her family.
She earned a Master's Degree in education from Bloomsburg University and retired from teaching 2nd grade at Drums Elementary School after 30 years. She found great joy in teaching children and was voted teacher of the year many times. Generations greeted her each week at Gould's.
Pauline and her husband Andy collected stories from traveling throughout the US including Hawaii and Alaska, Europe, the Far East, and Russia and made many friends. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church and baked legendary pies for the Church Apple Festival. She belonged to Conyngham Knitting where she earned accolades for her complex patterns her husband sometimes sketched on graph paper. Pauline loved being with her grandchildren and enjoyed attending their sporting events and musical recitals.
Her husband of 65 yrs, Andrew, and her six siblings had previous passed on. Surviving are a daughter Michele Baymor Villaneuva and her husband Ted of Philadelphia; a son, Michael Baymor, his wife Connie, and children, Steven and Laura of Harleysville.
Funeral will be held Friday, February 28th, 11 AM, at Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East), 669 West Butler Drive, Sugarloaf. Burial will follow in Conyngham Union Cemetery. Early viewing at the funeral home from 10 AM for visitation.
