Paul R. "Pom Pom" Sokolofski, 73, of Sugarloaf, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, November 2, 2024, surrounded by family.
Born in Hazleton, June 1, 1951, he was the son of the late Joseph and Claire (Thomasini) Sokolofski.
Paul was a Machinist for Thor Caging, Hazleton for over 40 years. He spent his free time musky fishing, watching Philly Sports, and being a great Dad.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his great love, Ingeborg "Inky" (Johanson) Sokolofski, and his son, Paul Eric Sokolofski.
Surviving are his devoted son, Jesse "Sauceman" Sokolofski; his loving daughter-in-law, Catherine; his sisters, Mary and Nelly, and his brothers, Peter, Andy, Steve and Tommy.
The celebration of the lives and love for Paul and Inky will be held with a Memorial Service on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 11AM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of his family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10AM until the time of the service.
