Patricia Ann (Tomko) Dalesandro

Patricia Ann Dalesandro, 84, of Zion Grove, passed away early Monday morning, March 13, 2023, at The Laurels Senior Living Community in Hazleton following a lengthy illness. 
 
 Born in West Hazleton, January 21, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Kasmarsik) Tomko and spent her life in Zion Grove. 

 Patricia was a devoted homemaker and in her early years worked as a clerk for Sammy's Poultry Market, West Hazleton. She was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Weston, and the Twin County Lionette's. Patricia was very active in her children's school and was always willing to volunteer.  She enjoyed spending her time gardening, cooking, baking and socializing with friends. 

 She was preceded in death in addition to her parents by a brother John "Jan" Kasmarsik. 

 Surviving are her loving husband of the past 56 years, Thomas Dalesandro to whom she was married on September 24, 1966; seven children, Chris Dalesandro and wife Judy, Robesonia; Jeffrey Dalesandro and wife Kim, Zion Grove; Brian Dalesandro, Dover, FL; Mary Cherko and husband John, Conyngham; Jennifer Stone and husband Chris, West Chester; Nicholas Dalesandro and wife Peg, Tampa, FL; and Julie Midas, Zion Grove; 18 grandchildren, Isabel, Liam, Anna, Lidia, Luke, Audrey, Kienan, Brianna, Erica, JT, Gabriella, Nessa, Madeline, Beckett, Nicholas "Nico", Gunnar, Hodge, and Kade; and many nieces and nephews.

 Her funeral will be held with a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 am in Sacred Heart RC Church, Weston.  Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Weston.  Friends may call at the church on Friday morning from 9 am until the time of the Mass. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
