Patricia Anne (Tempest) Bacher

Patricia Anne Bacher, 78, of Bloomsburg, passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 4, 2023, at her residence following a lengthy illness. 

 Born in Hazleton, January 15, 1945, she was the daughter of the late James and Rose (DeGregoria) Tempest and spent the past 12 years in Bloomsburg, after moving from Hazleton. 

 Patricia was a Residential Advisor for Keystone Job Corps Center, Drums; CEO of Bacher Real Estate, Hazleton and Drums; Housing Director at Valley of the Lakes, Hazleton, and Administrative Officer of the Hazleton Housing Authority. Patricia's greatest joy in life was taking care of her husband Dave and spending time with her family.  

 She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her brother Richard Tempest. 

 Surviving are her devoted husband of 51 years, David Jay Bacher, to whom she was married on February 26, 1972 in Drums; three children, David Bacher and wife Cristie, Bloomsburg; Kara Hunter and husband Matthew, Bloomsburg; and John Birkenheuer and wife Kim, SC; four grandchildren, Emaley, Lydia, Mackenzie, and Riley; two brothers, James Tempest, Hazleton; and Joseph Tempest and wife Patricia, Mechanicsburg; and three nephews, one niece and their children. 

 Her funeral will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen, assisted the family with the arrangements.
