Nelson W. Berger

Nelson W. Berger, 66, of Sugarloaf, passed away Tuesday evening, February 17, 2026, at his home in Sugarloaf.

Born in Niagara Falls, NY, January 7, 1960, he was the son of the late Nelson and Shirley G. (Kisenwether) Berger and spent the past 60 years in Sugarloaf, after moving from Niagara Falls.

Nelson was a Press Operator for Bemis, Valmont. He was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed fishing and hunting. Nelson was a social member of the Valley VFW Post #8161, Conyngham.  Surviving are a son, Nelson Berger and his significant other Kyra Phair, Nanticoke; a sister, Shirnel Partington and husband Kurt, Mt. Top; two nephews, Shawn Partington, Neil Partington, and a niece, Kara Luchowski.

His and his parents funeral will be held with a graveside service on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 10AM in Conyngham Union Cemetery.  Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Dr, Drums, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
