Nancy J. (Larock) Larock Gabala

Nancy Larock Gabala, 92, of Sugarloaf, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 7, 2023, at her residence following a lengthy illness.

Born in Sugarloaf, April 20, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary (Mascarella) Larock and had spent her entire life in Sugarloaf.

Nancy was a 1948 graduate of Black Creek Twp. High School and became a devoted homemaker.  She was a member of Good Shepherd RC Church, Drums.  Nancy appreciated flowers and gardening.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband, Joseph Gabala; brothers, George, Russell, Joseph, Frank, John, and Donald Larock, and young brother Anthony; and sisters, Theresa, Jane, Margaret, and Jean Larock.
Surviving are her sister-in-law Shirley Larock, Sugarloaf; many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews

Her family would also like to thank all the aides that have helped and cared for Nancy over the past several years, also the staff from Hospice of the Sacred Heart.

Her funeral will be held with a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 11 AM in Good Shepherd RC Church, 87 South Hunter Highway, Drums. Burial will follow in Calvary RC Cemetery, Drums. Friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 10 AM until the time of Mass.
