Nancy B. Dusheck, 78, of Hazleton, passed away Friday evening, April 11, 2025, at her home. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Caroline (Pape) Gregoria and was a faithful member of Annunciation Parish at St. Gabriel Church, Hazleton.
Nancy was a 1964 graduate of Hazleton High School, and graduated from The McCann School of Business. She was employed at Allentown General Hospital in the medical records department prior to raising her family and becoming a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Nancy was a member of the YMCA, Hazleton, and the Hazleton Active Adult Center, where she regularly attended classes. She enjoyed traveling and listening to live music, but what she loved most of all was spending time with her family and beloved grandchildren. Her favorite time of year was the annual Cape May family vacation, a tradition she started, which created wonderful family memories each summer. Nancy loved her family and friends dearly and will be greatly missed by all.
Surviving are her loving husband of 57 years, David A. Dusheck to whom she was married on October 21, 1967; two daughters, Caroline Liott and husband James, Easton; and Jennifer Laskosky and husband Jason, Orefield; four grandchildren, Jude and Cole Liott, and Cameron and Gabrielle Laskosky; a sister, Carole Saxon and husband Mark, New Tripoli; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held with a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, April 21 at 10 AM in Annunciation Parish at St. Gabriel Church, 122 S. Wyoming St., Hazleton. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of her family. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 9 AM until the time of the Mass.
