Mildred M. Bacher, 76, of Zion Grove, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 16, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown, following a short illness.
Born in Aliquippa, October 9, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Bessie (Jordan) Meier and spent the past 26 years in Zion Grove, after moving from Sugarloaf.
Mildred was a Homemaker who loved taking care of her family. She was of the Protestant faith. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution having ancestors that date back to the Mayflower. She enjoyed spending her time outdoors; gardening and planting flowers, baking and watching her children and grandchildren play baseball.
Surviving are her loving husband Robert W. Bacher to whom she was married on June 27, 1964; two children Lorne Bacher and his wife Audrey, Hanover; and Kris Bacher and his wife Lana, Zion Grove; three grandchildren Sage, Lucas, and Jackson Bacher; a sister Emily Oberholtzer and her husband Fred, Lititz; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 West Butler Drive, Drums, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
