Mathilda Pongrazzi Obituary

Mathilda R. Pongrazzi, 91, of formerly of Nuremburg Pennsylvania, passed away September 23, 2021 at Mountain City Nursing Rehabilitation Center in Hazle Township, PA. where she resided for the past 3 years.

Born in Beaver Valley January 22, 1930, she was the daughter of the late August J. and Rose S. (Wodjeski) Pongrazzi.

Mathilda was a sewing machine operator at several garment factories for many years before retiring. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Weston, PA. She was also a member of Sheppton Senior Citizens & ILGWU. She enjoyed reading, card playing with the Jolly 8 card club, and crossword puzzles.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her two brothers Augustine and Richard.

Surviving is her sister in law Anna Pongrazzi of Nuremburg, and three nieces and four nephews.

Her funeral will be held privately at the convenience of the family at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Weston.
