Mary Ann (Thomashefsky) Fisher

Mary Ann Fisher, 75, of Fern Glen, passed away Saturday morning, February 8, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hazleton, following a four-year illness.

Born in Fern Glen, March 20, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Andruzzi) Thomashefsky and had spent her whole life in Fern Glen.

Mary was a presser for multiple local garment factories including Jebbon Manufacturing, Weston. She was also a sales associate for Walmart, Hazle Twp. for many years.  She was a past member of St. Joseph's RC Church, Nuremberg and a current member of Sacred Heart RC Church, Weston.  In her younger years she enjoyed bowling and taking trips and vacations with her husband. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, and prepping for the holidays.  Her greatest and most precious joy was her family, including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; they meant absolutely everything to her.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her brother, Edward Thomashefsky, and three sisters, Margaret Keene, Violet Mummey, and Elizabeth Lutz.

Surviving are her loving husband of 59 years, Larry M. Fisher, Sr. to whom she was married on May 29, 1965 in Nuremberg; two children, Larry M. Fisher, Jr. and his wife Tammy, Nuremberg; and Antoinette "Pinky" Dodson and her husband Kevin, Drums; two grandchildren, Travis Fisher and his wife Brittany, Mountain Top; and Lindsay Mowery and her husband Mitch, Nescopeck; four great-grandchildren, Mason, Mila, Sadie, and Mckenna, and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 10 AM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Rd, Rock Glen. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart RC Cemetery, Weston. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, from 6PM to 8 PM.
