Lynne M. Finkel, 68, of Zion Grove, passed away early Thursday morning, October 2, 2025, at Mountain City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Hazle Township, following a long illness.
Born in Hazleton, September 21, 1957, she was the daughter of the late William B. and Marlene M. (Yeager) Judge, Sr. and spent the past 40 years in Zion Grove, after moving from Nuremberg.
Lynne graduated from Governor Livingston High School in Berkeley Heights, NJ, class of "75". She was employed as a line worker for Fabri-Kal in Hazleton for over 40 years until her retirement in 2020. Lynne was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Nuremberg and of the American Legion Post #699 Nuremberg. In her free time, she enjoyed trips to Atlantic City beaches and going to eat with her co-workers.
Surviving are her loving husband, David Finkel to whom she was married on December 9, 1978; a son, Joel Finkel and wife Becky, Zion Grove; a daughter, Ashley Finkel, Drums; a grandson, Kyle Finkel, Zion Grove; a brother, William B. Judge, Jr, Nuremberg, a sister, Donna Buccino and husband Daniel, Zion Grove; and several nephews.
Her funeral will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 11 AM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen. Burial will follow in Nuremberg Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 PM to 8 PM.
