Linda Mary Balliet, 73, of Hazleton, passed away Friday morning, September 3, 2021 at the Manor at St. Luke Village in Hazleton.
Born in Hazleton, May 28, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen "Corky" (Corkett) Angeli and spent the past 20 years in Hazleton, after moving from St. Johns.
Linda was the Proprietor of Balliet Graphics in St. Johns and had previously worked at the YMCA and Giant Flooring in Hazleton for many years. She enjoyed trips to Bally's Casino in Atlantic City, spending time with her daughter, working on her computer and was a true crime fanatic, soaking up all the movies, books and TV shows she could.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her loving husband Leland "Butch" Balliet who passed away January 18, 1993.
Surviving are two children, Lora Balliet and her companion Thomas J. Bond III., Hazleton; and Kevin Balliet and his wife Jill, West Hazleton; five grandchildren, Jaynelle Poremba, Hazleton; Chayse Evancho, Hazleton; Shayne Balliet, Freeland; Cole Balliet, Nescopeck; and Paiton Balliet, West Hazleton; four great-grandchildren Anthony, Ryleigh, Jack, and October; a sister, Donna Lee Angeli, New York, NY; and lifelong friend, Janet Balliet, Drums.
As per Linda's wishes there will be no services. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 West Butler Drive, Drums assisted the family with arrangements.
