Joseph J. Moff, Jr.

Joseph J. Moff, Jr., 94, of Bloomsburg, passed away Sunday evening, August 6, 2023, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown. 

 Born in Weston, July 3, 1929, he was the son of the late Joseph and Agnes (Hasker) Moff and spent the past 42 years in Bloomsburg, after moving from New Jersey. 

 Joseph was a pipe fitter by trade in New Jersey and was a Sergeant in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Sacred Heart RC Church, Weston.  He was a certified welder and fireman and enjoyed boating, farming and raising chickens. 

 He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his wife, the former Janet Nenstiel; a brother, Gerald Moff, and sisters, Gloria Schrader, and Ethel Pecora. 

 Surviving are two sisters, Marion VanHorn, Yardley; and Lauretta Chenkus; Blackwood, NJ, and seven nieces and nephews. 

 His funeral will be held Friday, August 11, 2023, at 11 AM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart RC Cemetery, Weston. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday morning from 10 AM until the time of the service.
