Joseph R. Lazur

Joseph R. Lazur, 67, of Conyngham, passed away unexpectedly Sunday November 10, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest in Allentown.

Born in Hazleton, PA, April 2, 1957, he was the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Reba) Lazur Sr. and spent the past 28 years in Conyngham, Pennsylvania after moving from Hazleton.

Joseph was a Laborer for Consolidated Cigar, McAdoo.  He was a member of St. John Bosco Roman Catholic Church, Sugarloaf. And was an avid sports fan and enjoyed trips to the casino.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents by a step-son Steven E. Price, brothers Thomas and Michael Lazur, and a sister Mary Meyers.

Surviving are his wife of the past 28 years Michelle (Lynn) Lazur, his daughter Amanda Lazur, a step-son Jeffrey E. Price, both of Conyngham; a brother John Lazur Jr. and his wife  Jane, Drums; two sisters Elizabeth Sabo; sister Christine Helmer, both of McAdoo.

His funeral will be held with a graveside memorial service in the chapel of Calvary Cemetery, Drums on Thursday November 14, 2024 at 11:00am
