John Marshall Obituary

John Paul Marshall, 72, formerly of Hazleton, passed away Wednesday evening, January 18, 2023, at River View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Hazleton, October 21, 1950, he was the son of the late John and Irene (Melnick) Marshall.

John was a Flexographic Press Operator for International Paper, Hazleton. He was also a member of the United Steelworkers Union.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his companion Marie Ziek and stepfather Peter Podlesny, Sr.

Surviving are a son, John Marshall; four brothers, Joseph Marshall; Peter, David and Jeffrey Podlesny; nephew, Joseph Marshall and great-nephew, Joseph Marshall.

All services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums is assisting the family with the
