Jodi Lynn Oberto, 51, of Allentown, and formerly of Whitehall, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehab in Allentown.
Born in Allentown, October 14, 1974, she was the daughter of her father, George Oberto and her stepmother, Donna (Carl) Oberto, Whitehall; and her mother, Joan (Sterling) Oberto, Orefield; and spent the past five years in Allentown after spending most of her life in Whitehall.
Jodi was a 1996 graduate of Whitehall High School and was a member of Egypt Community Church, in Whitehall. She was also member of the Girl Scouts of America where she participated in their Tuesday Nights Together #TNT Program and of the Parkettes National Gymnastics Training Center in Allentown. Jodi was a perpetually cheerful person, she loved going to dances once a month, training for the Special Olympics in swimming and bowling and traveling with her parents, especially to the Caribbean, the Thousand Islands and to Colorado where she rode her first horse.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are her brother, Joseph Oberto and his wife Christine, Harrisburg; two nephews, Nicholas and Daniel Oberto, Harrisburg, special friend of over 30 years, Stephanie Ojeda-Uruburo, Baltimore, MD; and some aunts and many cousins also survive.
Her funeral will be held with a Memorial Service on Saturday May 16, 2026, at 11AM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums. Interment will follow in Emmanuel UCC Cemetery, Dorrance. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10 AM until the time of the service.
