Jim Moseley Obituary

Jim Henry Moseley, 69, of Sheppton, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, April 7, 2023, at his residence in Sheppton.

 Born in Pittsburg, OK, November 7, 1953, he was the son of the late George and Virgie (Turner) Moseley and spent the past 29 years in Sheppton.

 Before retiring, Jim was a bowling alley mechanic for Bowl Arena, Hazleton, working on vintage bowling machines.  He was also a construction worker for Dennison Renovations, Zion Grove, and was a master craftsman with his hands.  He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Conflict from 1972 - 1974.  Jim enjoyed spending his free time hunting, fishing, and being with his family and friends.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, DeWayne and Allen Moseley; and two sisters, Georgia Dobson and Edna Mickle, all from Oklahoma.

 Surviving are his loving wife, Holly (Resinger) Moseley, to whom he was married on April 22, 1994, and four children: Misty Moseley, Pottsville; Rebecca Cerio, Rockville, MD; Molly Moyer and husband Christopher, Pottsville; and Jaci Moseley, NJ.  A sister, Billie Rice, OK; six granddaughters; one grandson; two great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

 Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (West), 1265 Rock Glen Road, Rock Glen, is assisting the family with arrangements.  No service will be held, but online condolences can be entered and are appreciated.
