It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jessica Ann Lockwood, who left this world too soon on April 27, 2025, at the age of 39. Born on April 5, 1986, in Casper, Wyoming, Jessica lived a life filled with love, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to serving others.
Jessica was the beloved daughter of Chris and Kim Sauers and was preceded in death by her father, Randy Paul of Sheridan Wyoming as well as her cherished grandparents, Richard and Geri Martinsen, and Jack and Mary Paul. The legacy of love she leaves behind is a testament to the bonds she forged with family and friends throughout her life.
After attending Hazleton High School her journey was marked by an extraordinary dedication to helping those around her. Her passion for service manifested in many ways; she was not only a firefighter and trustee for the Harwood Fire Company but also an ambulance technician, and she devoted much of her time to caring for the elderly. Jessica's heart was as vast as her ambitions; she found fulfillment in the small acts of kindness that made a significant impact on others' lives.
Above all, Jessica cherished her role as a mother. Her two beloved children, Wyatt and Isabella Petrill, were the light of her life, and she took immense pride in being their mom. She was not only a guiding force in their lives but also their biggest supporter, inspiring them with her zest for life and her unwavering belief in the power of love and kindness.
Jessica is survived by her husband, Jim Lockwood. Also left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Jennifer Youells (William) and Lindsey Keller (Dennis), along with numerous nieces and nephews who shared countless treasured moments with their "Galika" and will forever hold her in their hearts.
As we remember Jessica Lockwood, we celebrate a life dedicated to the service of others-a life that shone brightly in the lives of everyone she touched. Her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew her and even those who didn't, reminding us all of the importance of compassion, love, and community. Jessica will be deeply missed but will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, and in the memories of all those she helped throughout her journey on Earth.
Rest in peace, dear Jessica, your legacy of love and service will forever guide us.
Her funeral will be held with a Celebration of Life on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 6PM to 8PM from Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 West Butler Drive, Drums. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of her family.
