Jeffrey Klein, 62, of Sugarloaf, passed away suddenly on Wednesday evening, November 15, 2023, at his residence.
Born in Hazleton, October 24, 1961, he was the son of the late Carl and Margaret (Holland) Klein and spent the past 33 years in Sugarloaf, after moving from Hazleton.
Jeffrey was a plant operator for Blaschak Anthracite Coal Company, Lattimer for the past five years and was previously employed at Slusser Brothers, Hazleton; for many years. He was also the owner and operator of Onsite Portable Toilets, Sugarloaf. He was a member of Conyngham United Methodist Church, Conyngham. Jeff had coached Valley West Little League for many years, and loved spending time with his family and friends out on the lake.
He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by his son, Cody John Klein who passed away December 5, 1990.
Surviving are his loving wife, the former Heidi J. Kadelak; to whom he was married on May 16, 1987 in Hazleton; five children, Brad Klein and wife Taylor, Beaver Twp.; Kurt Klein and his fiancée Alexxis Yost, Mifflinville; Rashawn "Rocky" Klein, Conyngham; Shyanne Klein and companion Richard Reno, El Paso, TX; and Alex "Bubba" Klein, Denver, CO; five grandchildren, Darrin, Luka, Nathan, Lilah, and Damian; three siblings, twin brother John Klein and wife Anne, Sugarloaf; Edward Klein and wife Catherine, Mahanoy City; a sister Nancy Doyle and husband John, Hazleton; father and mother-in-law, Joseph and Bonnie Kadelak, Sugarloaf; brother-in-law, Joseph Kadelak, Jr. and wife Janine, Drums; sister-in-law, Susan Klein, Hazleton; many nieces and nephews and his dog Molly.
His funeral will be held with a Memorial Service on Monday, November 20, 2023, at 11 AM in Conyngham United Methodist Church, 411 S. Main St, Conyngham. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the Church on Monday morning from 9 AM until the time of the service. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Drive, Drums, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
