Janice Louise Sigmund, 84, of Hazleton, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
Born in Ashland, January 1, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Mildred (Milewicz) Bolick.
Janice was a 1958 graduate of Mt. Carmel High School. She was an employee for Fabri-Kal for close to 30 years, retiring in 2007. Janice enjoyed the outdoors, spending time camping, and trips to the beach in Wildwood, NJ. She also loved testing her luck at the casino, dogs of all kinds, and spending time with her loved ones.
Surviving are two children, Lisa Schietrumpf and her companion Kenneth Trippett, Drums; and Jeffery Leiby and his wife Michelle, Sharon, SC; two grandchildren, Nadine Morgan and her husband John, Jim Thorpe; and Rachel Rebarchick and her companion Justin Nieves, Wilkes Barre; seven great-grandchildren, Kelcie, Aria, Jolie, Elizabeth, Jaylen, Atalia, and Arabella; and a brother, Stephen Bolick and his wife Linda, Alexandria, VA.
Her funeral will be held privately at the convenience of her family. Harman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc. (East), 669 W. Butler Dr, Drums, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
